The other day I was looking for something to watch online to keep me entertained. I stumbled across one of my favorite movies "Hitch." It stars Will Smith and Kevin James. Smith plays Alex Hitchens, the infamous Date Doctor.  The first time I watched the movie I was inspired.

I wasn't inspired to be a Date Doctor, I was inspired to pursue work doing something I love. In the movie, Smith works in creative ways to help people live their dreams of finding love. He gets to use his talents, pick his clients, see the results of his work and build great networks and relationships with his clients, many of whom end up helping him. Will gets to dress great in the movie too.

In some ways I feel like Hitch. After being "fired" from the 9-5 world, I've been living my dream. I've been working with people around the world to help them live their personal and professional dreams. It's not an easy adventure. Their are plenty of ups and downs. I have to do a lot of work that many people would complain about. But the smiles I get to experience when people say "thank you" or "your words helped me" make all the ups and downs worth it. I'm in a place where I focus on what I can do versus what I can't.

Why am I sharing this information with you? You have dreams and I want to know are you living them? I've been traveling a lot the last few months. I've been talking with people all over the country about living their dreams. For the people who were living their dreams, they were enjoying life. For the people not living their dreams, they felt like the whole world was against them.

Just like the movie, in order to live our dreams, we can just wait for them to happen we have to make them happen. You can't sit back and wait for things to happen you have to find a way to make things happen. Or you have to find someone who can assist you.

Television and movies make things look so easy. The truth is, everything takes work. Including living our dreams. The work is worthwhile and even enjoyable when the end result is desirable. Remember the more you talk about your dream, the more it becomes a fantasy. The more you work to live your dream you turn it into a reality.

In Hitch, Will Smith gave people the inspiration and education to turn their dreams into a reality. And while he was helping his clients he was working to live his dream. It left everyone with a positive feeling about life. Wouldn't you like to feel that way?

Have a great week. Find something that inspires you and use that inspiration to turn your dream from a vision to a reality.
